I liked Star Fox Zero but even with the motion controls set to only activate when you shoot it just felt clunky to me.

I didn’t like the gameplay for mafia 1 but I like the story so beat the main story

apparently i seem to be the only one who actually enjoys south park: phone destroyer. i still play it to this day. yes, PVP is hard, but it's the quickest way for me to level up and upgrade cards, since i don't have money and don't want to ask my parents. the game is fun, and there are a few endings to the game depending on how much money you have, how many upgrades, etc.; it's a lot of fun.

I feel like almost everybody has a franchise or two where they're like "Yeah, I really like it!" but they actually only love one or entries, but the ones they do love, they love a lot. And that's perfectly okay. And yes, bring back Fay. We need so much more Fay.

I know Starlink battle for Atlas isn’t mentioned because it’s not a StarFox game, but it did have some good stuff. Especially the characters. It proves that StarFox could work great as an animated series

TBH: I played chefs luv shack as a kid and have a lot of nostalgia for it so unfortunately I am one of the few who really liked that game lol

More like MIDeration Force... Or something. Like, it's fine, it's a first person shooter, the design is okay, and I don't inherently dislike playing as more than just Samus; people liked the Hunters in the DS spinoff. This isn't like Megaman X7 where the titular character is at the forefront of the box art yet had to be unlocked. But at least X could be unlocked in that game, you can't even unlock Samus. Instead she's the final boss. It probably wouldn't be out of character for the Space Pirates to want to use her power for their own ends, but it's out of character for Samus to be captured and hypnotized by them. And she only fights you as a giant Morph Ball. If I wanted to fight Samus Aran, I'd play Fusion where you also got to play as Samus, who fought her old armor being inhabited by an alien slime girl.

Supersonic Warrios was just amazing, definitely gave the tenkaichi sensation before tenkaichi.

I think people are overly set on a 2D game, an open-world style 3D game would have been sweet. They really dropped the ball on this one… Now there isn’t a chance in hell we’ll ever get a good 3D game from them.

Personally I really like Megaman World 1. It’s awfully cathartic to play through Megaman 1 stages that got redesigned in a way that actually makes them interesting My issue with Megaman World 2 (and I have no idea if this is everyone else’s problem with the game this is just what I noticed while playing for the first time recently) isn’t that it’s a bad game. In fact, it’s a pretty good Megaman game. But it’s good because pretty much all the Robot Master stages seemed way too similar to their NES counterparts. Like, yes I enjoyed the game, but more than half of it didn’t feel like it belonged to that game. The only stage that was changed enough for me to notice was Metalman’s stage, which they made worse with blind spike falls (not much worse but still). Yeah 3 is good, and 4 is definitely the second best of the bunch. I appreciate 4 because it took two mid stages from NES 5 (Napalm Man and Stone Man) and made them really good, and they also improved Crystal Man’s stage a lot too. And the endgame of 4 is better than 1-3 also, as well as a lot of the classic series games. And yeah Megaman World 5 is the best one and is honestly probably one of my five favorite games across like five series of Megaman games

Cool, it's rare that I find a video that talks about these games in a way I can relate. For the most part. I'm more harsh towards Zeros failings, but still consider it better than the GC or DS games.

Star Fox Zero is The best Star Fox game. I could handle the controls and get highscores. I even got the world record a couple of times. Underrated like crazy. And assault is a bad game, because mechanics are not tight compared to 64 or Zero. It’s not an awful game, but it’s misguided to say it’s the best in the series. Also, I never liked the story after 64. I Don’t like how quickly everyone aged. And some characters get killed off. Other times, right down depressing. I think Star Fox needs its own “bowser” or “Ganon”. Andross is the best villain in the series and I would like to see what happened after Zero. It appears James didn’t die like in the old story. He seems to be trapped with andross in another dimension. And it appears General Pepper and Peppy Hare lied about James’ Death.

I love assault, it was so fun to play with friends where you could hop out of your arwing midflight to pull out a homing missile and fire at someone tailing you. I have no idea if it's competitive but we were all kids and it sure impressed us at the time. The campaign was also in my opinion pretty fun too, I liked the diversity of on foot, vehicle, and plane sections. It would be awesome to get a sequel but that's probably not gonna happen unless it's some indie inspired game

Star Fox Zero is a lot of things but gorgeous isn’t one of them. The game is not that bad to me either but it looks like complete ass 😅

I was a game cube kid and grew up on Assault and Adventures, i understand why people hate them but i absolutely loved Assault, when i played 64 i ended up feeling that it was a step back. So in my humble opinion and it is my OPINION. I prefer assault to 64.

I don't remember where I heard this, but supposedly Acclaim decided on the genres for the N64 South Park games by asking Matt & Trey what their favorite games were at the time. They said they were into Quake, You Don't Know Jack and Midtown Madness. So Acclaim made an FPS, a trivia game and a racing game.

Calling Command's characterization of every character as "The grossest Ken Pender's-ass rendition of the Star Fox cast" is just so validating and funny as all hell. Thank you for that. Also, thank you for being one of the few who understands that Zero is a net positive for the franchise and re-oriented the series in the right direction.

Star fox commands controls are AT LEAST 20 times more enjoyable to use then Star Fox Zero. This video feels like straight up propaganda

Personally, I never had a problem with Zero’s controls. Or Assault, or command. Of those 3 Zero is definitely my favorite, but I should play it again to be sure. I actually recently replayed every other Starfox game, but I just started up Mario Sunshine, I’m not ready to bring out the Wii U just yet. Adventures and Assault are awesome, but the map layouts bothered me the most. Adventures had no fast travel, despite having a “warp stone,” so going from one area to another just seemed like unnecessary padding. Assault would’ve been better if I could find the things I was looking for. Probably my fault but the layouts don’t help. Melee was probably the best Starfox game, though I do prefer Ultimate. With that said, you can’t beat Fox’s characterization in Subspace Emissary. Starlink had potential, unfortunately everything is paywalled, boring gameplay loops, and the characterization of Wolf in particular was atrocious. they acted like he was evil and wanted to take over the Lylat system for some reason. I mean, he would do it, but if only someone hired him first. Wait… there’s dlc I never played. maybe I missed something or idk it was a long time ago. 10/10 And lastly, Kid Icarus is my favorite 3DS game. Coincidentally, a perfect blueprint for what Starfox could be.

I haven't played Zero but the thing i think is that Zero is the video game equivalent of Cilantro where it's either delicious or tastes like soap just based on your body make up, in Zero's case your brain makeup. The bad or good qualities are hard to perceive a lot of the time because it literally just don't exist in the respective person's brain wiring.

I never knew about the settings in Star Fox Zero to partially remove the motion controls and the option to swap screens with the select button. Wish the game &/or manual would have told me that back in the day.

I honestly feel bad for the bubsy 3d devs. Imagine thinking you're making history. Maybe not a great game, but they likely thought they were inventing the 3d platformer-then while they were still developing it, Crash Bandicoot *AND* Mario 64 come out and completely steal all your thunder, doing it way, way better. Bubsy 3D was roughly 4 months too late to be a revolutionary game, for better or for worse.
